One day I will be reconstructed from the text I leave behind.

An incredibly reasonable choice, all else aside. That it's considered one of the "paved paths" in music-software programming is, however, probably the biggest condemnation of the state of music-software programming I can think of :D

At one point I got so fed up with its bullshit, I rolled my own JUCE VST to build a thing because Max was being a pain and three halfs, to then look at what I'd have to reimplement from being max built-ins, and with the largest teeth-grinding I've ever done in programming, went back to Max.

It is however great fun and made me learn a bunch of stuff I'd never have touched otherwise. Just, if you haven't touched it, Max is... special. Very capable, not bad, just... lots of idiosyncrasies in UI and UX you'll have to roll with.

I *think* supercollider can do this? But I'm not sure that's any help, since SuperCollider is counter-intuitively extremely hard to make cooperate with anything. :(

All I'm saying is that after a while I ended up buying a book on VST development...

I would say that that is quite the rare achievement.

Water loses volume ever so slightly as it cools, so the answer is yes, I think.

I'm trying to re-capture the spark now that made me captivated by the digital art format in the first place, tinted and shaded by the skills I've picked up in the meantime. It's hard.

Thank you for making the video, it has enriched my day/life. Take care, best of success in everything.

I went for the programming/engineering route rather than the digital-artistry route nearly entirely because there was no way I would be able to afford the software I would need. I don't regret it, but there is always a very large thought of "what if".

I’ll need to rearrange my desk a bit. For comparison, those are 27” screens. These are Adam Audio T7V monitors. They sound fantastic, in my not-that-educated opinion.
