Yes! I moved to LA in 1979. The smog was so bad at times, we couldn’t play our team sports. Our throats would burn, it was horrible. It’s bad now, but from the sheer amount of people, cars, airplanes… and fires. The shutdown showed what could happen 😢 Within 1 week, the skies were clear blue 🩵
