Vidder, fangirl, bad typist. Resist much. Obey little. I choose my own way to burn. Lots of politics, a smidge of fandom.

This SCOTUS is so offensive to lower courts, particularly district courts. If the record doesn’t matter, standards of review don’t matter, & standards for extraordinary remedies like stays & injunctions pending appeal don’t matter, why didn’t the framers just make everything original jurisdiction?
Yet another opportunity to add to the "Supreme Court to lower courts: drop dead" thread

I'd have some sympathy if she said nothing, on the grounds that contempt & sanctions cases may start filtering their way to SCOTUS. But affirmatively saying "NBD" is a shiv to the Article III kidney.

6months later the baby with severe developmental issues is still hospitalized and family is resorting to gofundme to cover the related expenses. The Georgia legislature responsible for the abortion laws that enabled this tragedy is no where in sight to support this family and be pro life.

"Some 68,000 Americans die preventable deaths annually because insurance corporations prioritize profit over care. That is violence."

Without a functioning FDA, CDC and NIH we are in big trouble. And we are moving close to the precipice.

While there have been news articles reporting all of this, no one has yet put together the pieces to show how bad things are across the board, what it means for human lives.
