Seriously, just how cute is this critter?

Sunday's fat-bike ride started out really well. I was perfectly dressed for the weather (about 29 °F or -2 °C). The 3" (75 mm) of fresh snow on top of the older iced-over snow was beautiful and provided a fun challenge both in grip and rolling resistance. And the entire forest was beautiful.

Kermit has been gravel biking since way before it was cool.

This mini-ratchet kit is my favorite multitool to carry on the bike, but I also have another set to keep at home, because it's just so useful for getting into small spaces. Perhaps more importantly, look how adorably tiny the ratchet is!

Because I'm just that self-absorbed.

My riding buddy was out on the trail with me and was feeling pretty strong for parts of the ride.

My insulated water bottles failed to prevent their contents from freezing.

It’s times like this that I’m most happy to like somewhere that gets real snow.

Rides like today’s also make me wish I’d bought a fat bike when I first moved here.

It was cold but beautiful out on the trail today.

I also put my new rain shell, which is in my signature bright blue, to use for the first time.

Ooh, your info about game managers also preserving other wildlife fits this character perfectly. She had an encounter with a kirin in her youth, and it inspired her to protect nature and wildlife, regardless of the law or conventions. (She's aligned neutral good.) FWIW, I'm thinking she's from

Interested in oval chainrings? I have opinions.

I was overtaken by the snow-grooming machine (a Snowdog towing a weighted, grooved snowplow implement and its pilot. The groomed snow is far easier to navigate than the 1-tire-wide track left by other fat bikes.

Combining a larger handlebar-mounted headlight with a smaller helmet-mounted one was the correct choice, especially in tight, twisty sections of trail.

The snow was very wet, which made riding challenging. It was still fun, though.

I took Callipygia out for the first snow ride of the season today. It was great fun.

Yeah, I think there might have been something similar in the Tom Baker era, now that you mention it. It's also a bit like the USS Protostar in Star Trek: Prodigy.

silly goofball.

Ichiko is great with animals, but is awkward, impatient, and overly honest with people.

I'm also really proud of her and hope to bring her to life in the new campaign.

daimyo. Upon arrival in the new universe, the character was transformed into a tiefling *and a woman.* She eventually finds herself happy to be a demon girl and doesn't want to go back, so she takes the name Ichiko. Her Shiba Inu, Mochi, was transformed into a wolf, but he's still just a

Everyone in the party of my upcoming D&D 5E campaign comes from a different time/place on Earth but was pulled into this new universe, and many were transformed in some way. My ranger character was born Ishikawa Ichiro in Edo-period Japan and worked as game manger and security chief for a

You didn't ask, but I'll tell you about Umbra, a Solarian (basically a solar-powered Jedi) in my current Starfinder campaign. She's a recent xenobiology grad filling the time while she finds a position in her field--challenging in this economy!--with job on a freighter and a SpaceTube channel
