I teach math and I play music. One of those pays the bills and the other is music.

Fox interviewer: “Wow…”

Literally anyone with two brain cells to rub together: “Wow, where did you get your statistics from?”
Kash Patel: "You know who has to get to stepping? Canada. Because they're making it up there and shipping it down here. And I don't care about getting into this debate about making someone the 51st state or not ... say what you want about Mexico, but they helped up seal the southern border."

Supreme Court has been relatively generous so far with things that have come its way. My tinfoil hat prediction was always that birthright citizenship is the big one. I think that’s the one that the SC will favor the administration over the constitution. Murphy’s Law has rarely been wrong this term.

Look, I’m not going to.. But seeing Trump signs still up and specifically Timcast billboards in my area… I really wish I had a paintball gun, and the cojones to use it

I’ve always had this lingering feeling that Trump is Darth Vader. Like, he’s a super bad dude with the empire behind him. He’s the catalyst for change, and through his imperialistic reign, peace was found. I’m hoping that if we live through this time in America, the post-empire parallels come true..

Known Russian asset and a living prehistoric specimen Marjorie Taylor Greene had his Trump security forces attack and beat his constituents during a town hall, he had them attacked due to their inquiries. Most were dragged out and only the black constituents were tazed.

I’ve recently started showing my students (8th grade) The World From A to Z in homeroom. I feel it’s my duty as a teacher to keep them informed about the world. And anytime the president’s most recent antics pop up, my kids boo and point and laugh at him.

Maybe there’s hope for the future yet!

Booker: "I confess that I have been imperfect. I confess that I've been inadequate to the moment. I've confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that gave a lane to this demagogue. I confess we all must look in the mirror and say 'we will do better.'"

Yes! Although I wonder what the fallout will be in my red state if by some miracle the DOE is not dismantled.

Or fucking what? Nothing is happening with these “musts”. I love hearing this, but the enforcement is going to be the key. How will they be enforced?

Dumb question about the economic blackout today:

How do we know if it’s working? It’s not even trending on BlueSky.

Still doing it, but man it feels like we’re just yelling at clouds here.

Could use some game recommendations! I’m a casual gamer who’s looking to burn an hour or two a night to games that aren’t too invested. Some recent examples:

-Plucky Squire
-Tinykin
-Fez (haven’t quite grasped the appeal)
-Stardew (gives me anxiety because of the day limit, but I like it)
