Researchers at ICARUS, Maynooth University’s climate research centre, have launched a new citizen science project, seeking help to rescue African weather data that is vital for research about a part of the world that is very vulnerable to climate change.

Hundreds of the arrestees were taken to police cells. Hundreds were processed in pop-up gazebos after queuing for hours.

We've just published a paper on human occupation of the NW European margin and the importance of local climate reconstructions during the Lateglacial period. The paper represents a lot of work by myself and my coauthors over many years, we're all happy to see it published at last rdcu.be/eusdJ

Mount St. Helens is, in my opinion, one of the most amazing volcanoes in the US. This eruption was both tragic and scientific gift, an inspiration to many to learn more. Me included. I love going to visit her, with my geology friends, as she still has many stories to tell us. 🌋🧪⚒️

Mount St. Helens is, in my opinion, one of the most amazing volcanoes in the US. This eruption was both tragic and scientific gift, an inspiration to many to learn more. Me included. I love going to visit her, with my geology friends, as she still has many stories to tell us. 🌋🧪⚒️
