The beautiful Wood Anemone, such a joyous wildflower, an ancient woodland indicator & one of the classic signs of spring. Have you seen a #WoodAnemone flowering this year? The challenge this week is to find one! Share your pics for #WildflowerHour this Sunday 8-9pm!

One of the earliest woodland plants to flower and a classic sign of spring, the photo shows the beautiful white star-shaped flowers of the Wood Anemone. With its gorgeous dissected green leaves it’s a joy to encounter a carpet of this gorgeous wildflower!
