@sarae I gave up on REI when they gave up on #portland. They claimed it was because of crime but I believe that location was also unionizing, which is undoubtedly the real reason.

@mpjgregoire I think the thought is that they can't survive in the wild, lacking the skills, and are unlikely to be accepted into other groups of whales. They also likely have no fear of humans, which is a problem in itself.
