True more than ever with the recently announced deal between the the US and Belarus to relax sanctions in exchange for access to potash. This becomes even more important as it seems fertilizer is to be the next pawn in CUSMA/Tariff negotiations to hit SK.

Sure, but hypothetically speaking, what will the knee-jerk reaction be when team start directionally punting from the other teams 40 instead of trying a field goal and scoring is way down? I still think moving the hash marks brought the goal posts into play more for O’s in the red zone.

My thoughts on this are getting stronger. You don’t want them to score? Stop them. You don’t want them to run 14 plays, stop them. Both teams have the same game clock. Additionally, score majors instead of field goals in the first 57minutes of play. It’s not like the win was a fluke.

Don’t change you defensive philosophy just because the end of the game is close. Don’t play scared to lose and you give yourself a better chance to win. They shouldn’t have been able to run 14 plays because they should have been stopped.

So much to spend on, innovation and technology, wages and recruitment, military housing. There will be expensive tokens too I’m sure you are right. The military appears to still very much favour American supplied tech which must make things awkward.

I seriously question your premise that additional military spending will be perceived as unnecessary by a large number of Canadians. I actually think many recognize the fact that the world has changed and our past advantage based on our proximity to the US is no more.

I’ve also thought there is a huge wasted opportunity on farms. Govt should incentivize farms to place solar on the roofs of large farm buildings. If only there was a program that could have been leveraged to re-allocate funds towards sustainable programs…
