It’s a small thing but it still annoys me every time I hear some say a team are the “World Champs” when they are part of a pro league that operates in a single country with no international competition.

Wildfires burning in the north, citizens displaced and still waiting for financial assistance, tariffs on steel and aluminum recently raised and our premier takes the time to open up sales of American alcohol again…way to stand up for…nothing. So disappointing and yet not surprising.

I gave up testifying to committees last spring. You spend days prepping only to have the meeting hijacked. But there’s other problems as well - you get 5 minutes to discuss a 150 page proposed omnibus bill. And then share an hour with four other speakers. Just send written comments.

I gave up testifying to committees last spring. You spend days prepping only to have the meeting hijacked. But there’s other problems as well - you get 5 minutes to discuss a 150 page proposed omnibus bill. And then share an hour with four other speakers. Just send written comments.
