And this is my latest commentary about the pro-crime crowd......https://jamesmadison.org/the-online-safety-discussion-fractures-the-constitution-censors-dissent-and-lets-criminals-roam-free/

These bills have been pending for years. If she is sponsoring/endorsing something she doesn't understand she should resign. As a constituent I am appalled by her positions her.

She's had plenty of time to get this right & many have reached out. She's in bed with the for her Morality in Media (now NCOSE) ridiculous.

And really? Will we ever get a clear picture of who is responsible for what until we stop simply finger pointing & understand where real criminality is & how parents can step up more effectively. My parenting motto? No is a complete sentence.

But because of the relatively youthfulness of users though it becomes the perfect exemplar of parental neglect. Plaintiffs in lawsuits which I track to assess platforms/claims/ages are younger specific to Roblox. Frankly ridiculous that any parent would allow a child to engage at that age.

Of course a country that endorses corporate punishment, is awash in child labor and tries 10yo's as adults may not be the paragon of child protection. Just a thought.

Have you seen Fawlty Towers Hotel Inspectors episode? Hilarious.

Perhaps but we need a lot more law enforcement support and public awareness. I'm not keen on the FTC as the govt cop in this role.

Ironically, I use the analogy all the time that current Congressional proposals are like MADD suing automakers while letting drunk drivers continue to kill people. if parents were more pro-active there would be less incentive for predators to lurk there. But this is a longer conversation. Onward.

Two words. Parental responsibility.

He's a rude, abusive troll. Lost opportunity for all of us to exchange ideas.
December 9, 2025 at 3:35 PM
HA. This made me laugh out loud.
December 9, 2025 at 3:29 PM
PS. Who lets their kids on these platforms? Parents. So presumably no one is putting a gun to their heads and that's a problem all by itself.
December 9, 2025 at 3:25 PM
LOL.....born in 1948 there will be double spaces. Beyond that if you want to troll & bitch go to that other platform. If you want to have a discussion stay here. Insults are not "learning" they're lazy learning avoidance. Have a great day.

No but their parents are. They shouldn't be on these platforms at all. But for tweens and older kids potentially useful. Ultimately the casual dismissal of parental responsibility is a serious issue.

Jesus, get a grip. 77 years old, doing this work for decades. I actually agree w/ you about the govt investigation & that's one of my points. I don't disagree w/ business machinations as a problem. I'm the opposite of new. Implementation is everything & implementation has sucked. Move on.
December 9, 2025 at 3:02 PM
Hmmm......well then perhaps you're the problem. Just a guess.
December 9, 2025 at 3:00 PM
LOL....seriously? Report Act, Protect Act of 2008 among other things...keep up!
