one thing I’m learning from my apprenticeship is that a lot of the neuroscience i see in social media is usually only partially correct and largely over extended
and I’m not saying I’m surprised at that

saw a clip of Ted Cruz asking someone during a session if they were on stolen land
and their responses absolutely sent me to the point i had to let that part of me rage and scream and cry and smash things before i could move on with my day

so thankful my therapist is trauma informed and well studied in Internal Family Systems (parts work), Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Somatics 🫶🏻
