Cranked out three challenging songs on drums yesterday 💪
Customizing the drum kit is my favorite part of doing session drums. First time experimenting with X-hats, and found a new stack combo. Also went for smaller toms than usual, it fit the vibe.

Update: after purchasing a second set of cables, and a new (to me) Audient preamp / converter box, I have finally gotten fully up and running again 😅
Internet says 50 ohm BNC cabling is fine. Lies. Wouldn't work at all until I got 75 ohm stuff and it's still fussy. Not my favorite experience.

Finally got everything up and running! The process wasn’t pretty and neither is the rat’s nest in the back lol.
Had to downgrade one of my units to a Behringer Ultragain to make it work, but I did some test drums and it still sounds good, especially after dialing in the Motu’s onboard EQ
