Yeah, hands suck, and I can't pretend otherwise; good work on the pose though, I can see you're using dynamic poses as reference, which will help you a lot (and something I really wish I did back when I first started drawing) in the long run.

Either way, this character's probably how I'm going to represent myself online for the foreseeable future. Not sure if I wanna give them a name of their own or not yet, though I do have some ideas (mainly based on what I've been told my name would've been if I were a girl).

It's the first proper attempt at a selfsona; appearance-wise I've taken a lot of elements from Raiko Horikawa of Touhou - and it's far more feminine than me - but the hair's actually fairly accurate in terms of length and appearance.

Oh, and for those who might think the hairstyle looks a bit odd, I went with basically a short-haired version of her PC-98 hair (if you look at her actual boss sprites from LLS, you'll see what I'm meaning) but her modern outfit design. Why? Because I did.

And the (mostly finished versions) of the inking and sketch. I used colored pens for the inking this time! I think I do really like the vibe of using colored pens in theory, but thick black lines definitely still have a place in my artstyle.

Oh yeah, here's the original sketch and lineart; I also did the coloring on paper that's not quite intended for it, hence why things didn't blend a ton.
