This is a very exciting find near me, 'The Peebles Hoard'. It was a large block of earth containing all manner of finds, lifting it out the earth as a solid block then CT scanning the to see what's in it. I love this image, 3000 year old treasure!

This find is throwing up wonderful challenges like your Anglian runes! I liked this pic that to me the weaving style work I'd call Celtic or Celtic inspired. Some amazing cultural fusions, cant wait to actually see it

If we were able to remove all the Hollywood stuff and see someone literate, a bard, maybe a prophet? There is every chance this seemingly wild wooded land held small religious communities, in that case he would be welcomed and given shelter. The connection to Kentigern may represent this fusion
