when I hear the phrase 'wild hunt' it always brings to mind a tale from near me, I wonder if you have heard of it, it's called Tam Lin, There are a variety of ways it can be told, I tend to make the Queen a healer that has brought back to life Tam who was killed in an accident!

If we were able to remove all the Hollywood stuff and see someone literate, a bard, maybe a prophet? There is every chance this seemingly wild wooded land held small religious communities, in that case he would be welcomed and given shelter. The connection to Kentigern may represent this fusion
