I want more motorcycle posting on this site. Also extremely into trans science. Send me all of your favorite DOIs. Extraordinarily bad at posting.
I'm actually a little surprised that A&M was hit with this shit before OU. I'm sure that has more to do with this being unorganized than anything. Usually a test case wouldn't be this pathetic. I thought they would have learned their lesson after the UT/Affirmative Action case.

I was a TA as an undergrad pre-transition, and fortunately I never had to grade anything. My university employed separate graders who they intentionally kept anonymous from all of the students to try to avoid all of this shit, and that was for math based classes. I hate this shit.

Sunday is never a good day on this website, no matter how the world is doing. I don't think happy people log in to this place on a Sunday.

It's 2:26 PM and OU still sucks.

MORE JOKES!!!!!

@caseyplett.com Thoughts?

My apologies. That was meant to be more tongue in cheek, but that doesn’t come across on this app well.

Unlike trans orgs, these people do their jobs. You don’t have to pester them like we do our people.
November 30, 2025 at 2:32 AM
But also, it’s Saturday night of a holiday weekend, and congress wont think about this u til probably after January. At least give them until Monday!

Chris makes a good point. The EFF or Evan Greer would be my go tos on this, and through them you can find more people who will look at things in a more detailed way. The EFF pays people to watch this stuff continuously. If it has legs they’ll be on it before you know it.

Her grammar is so bad that it’s “choose your own adventure” in interpretations. We can have more fun with her essay than she has with whatever she thinks is in the bible!
November 30, 2025 at 12:56 AM
Another fun part of this (paraphrasing): men are modeled on gods’s manly qualities, and women are modeled on god’s womanly qualities. Doesn’t that make her vision of god non-binary???
November 30, 2025 at 12:52 AM
I mean, by that logic I’ll agree. God created me with some pretty womanly desires. Like being a woman.

I hate that they have to go in to this doing the emotional labor to make sure it’s clear that none of this is personal. I’ve walked on those eggshells and it sucks.

I took an intro writing class that my university cooked up because so many freshman couldn’t write, and I would have failed the essay with the mistakes in the first paragraph. The only class I ever got away with shitty writing in was a basic government class, and the TAs basically wrote, “AYFKM?”
November 29, 2025 at 7:37 PM
I disagree in that they are being so delicate with her. I don’t think her writing would have passed muster in my elementary school. I know we had to have annotated bibliographies by 5th grade.
November 29, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Probably! It’s been so long since I’ve watched any of those that I can’t remember. It does seem to always exist with martial arts vs guns.
November 29, 2025 at 5:56 PM
Ok, sure, yeah, that’s doable easily. I think I’ve seen some movies where one person is pointing a loaded gun at the other, and the one at the barrel end grabs the slide and just pulls it off forwards.

I can’t remember a scene with this trope where I’ve seen the chamber properly cleared.
November 29, 2025 at 5:48 PM
Even with a round still chambered and the striker cocked? I am interpreting this as the “drop mag, sling slide across the room with zero other movements” but that is in so many older action movies.
November 29, 2025 at 5:39 PM
That is, unfortunately, fake. Even the guns that don’t require a multi-step process of removing parts to get to that level of disassembly still require more steps than those tricks ever show.
November 29, 2025 at 2:51 PM
And they've been doing this same thing in different industries for almost 40 years. Even when they "don't" get away with it, they still get away with it.
November 29, 2025 at 12:57 AM
This word making a comeback is making me mad in a way nothing else has. I really thought we were past this shit. I'm so mad I can't even form thoughts about this.
November 28, 2025 at 5:43 PM
No, see, this one fails because it requires us to both read and think. Nobody on this app is capable of either. (I like this one)
