Annette also called the taxi industry as an important partner, but not a replacement, for HandyDART services and this is an important partnership to continue with HandyDART back in public control.

Among the many topics discussed included the potential of ICBC expanding their product offerings to provide more affordable insurance options for British Columbians, as well as our concerns about privatization of public power generation.

They discussed concerns regarding artificial intelligence, including its impact on workers, public safety, and its threat to our democracy.

As well, they talked to the Minister about ICBC now that the Corporation has been returned to the Attorney General’s portfolio.
