I am personally refusing those since:
1. The ones offering these interviews are not what I am looking for. (I just want normal interview practice.)
2. At my level of experience, I can get enough interviews to not have to worry about finding ANY job.
3. They are harder to optimize/practice for.

If the scenario mentioned above occurs, engineers who refuse to use AI-assisted coding tools will be at a disadvantage in the job market.

Just an observation and a thought.

Who knows, maybe vibe-coding interviews are awful metrics for hire, so it'll stop; but it is definitely WAY more common.

Because it is now more common for interviewers to cheat during coding interviews, many companies are doing AI vibe coding interviews.

Sometime in the future, the scale might tip in such a way that AI coding interviews become more common than traditional algorithm & data structures interviews.
