1. I got almost the entire dinner prepped the night before Thanksgiving. Turkey brining, pie baked, broth for Chicken and Noodles made, chicken off the bone. Woke up with a SCREAMING headache.
2. We were re-heating a ham, we didn't realize it was on styrofoam and it caught fire in the oven.

My first solo Thanksgiving, I cut myself making stuffing and bled all over it. Rodney Dangerfield was a friend and he came into the kitchen and found me crying. He grabbed a spoon, mixed the blood in and and said "Honey, they're all drunk." Everyone ate it.
