Minneapolis residents are ready for a new mayor.

And the best way to ensure we have new leadership in the mayor’s office is to use ranked choice voting.

That’s why we’re proud to endorse
@omarfatehmn.com #1 for mayor.
@dewayneforminneapolis.com #2 for mayor.
@jazzformayor.bsky.social #3 for mayor.

This is not okay. Everyone should be standing against the intense islamophobia and anti Somali hate we are seeing in our city. Please speak out and stand against the fomenting of hate. Thanks CP & Senator for taking action.

Tonight a resident posted a picture of racist and Islamaphobic language written on Johnson street that called for @omarfatehmn.com to be deported and wished death upon the Somali community. @doronclark.bsky.social and I showed up right away to get this racist garbage off of our streets

The ICE agent wrote, “I cannot tell you how impressed my staff were as you stepped up and personally escorted that tactical vehicle through the crowd.”

Frey thinks this is “not assisting ICE” - but our communities know better.

And that’s why we’ll elect a new mayor on November 4th.

While Mayor Frey and Chief O’Hara have attempted to claim that MPD only showed up at the ICE action on June 3rd to assist with crowd control, ICE agents certainly saw MPD’s actions differently.

In fact, the ICE Special Agent in Charge emailed O’Hara to say thank you that same day.

Other Madore accomplishments:
- Voting with Rs against some of the biggest healthcare bills: major reform, omnibus spending, patient data protection
- Supporting an amendment to require photo ID when voting
- Leaning on 2 years as a suburban state rep 18 years ago as her main qualification

Minneapolis is lagging behind cities across the state in per capita state funding. Residents deserve a mayor who can develop positive relationships with legislators across jurisdictions.

Just one more reason to elect a new mayor on November 4th!
mplsforthemany.com
After eight years as mayor of the largest city in the state, Jacob Frey has exactly 0 endorsements from state legislators.

Mayor Frey’s inability to work with people at the state and county is holding Minneapolis back and Minneapolis residents are paying the price.

Frey is a failure
mplsforthemany.com
But make no mistake, this isn’t just a pattern with recent mayoral forums, this is how Frey governs: not showing up for community.

For almost 8 years, Mayor Frey has been unwilling to show up in public spaces, where community might hold him accountable.

Minneapolis deserves a mayor who shows up!

Another mayoral forum.

Another empty chair where Mayor Frey should be.

We’re starting to sense a pattern!

At a recent forum hosted by community groups, Frey decided to stay home, unaccountable to our friends and neighbors yet again.

Luckily, @taylordahlin.com was there to document it.

Carpetbaggin’ Shelley Madore’s campaign reported donations from GOP donors and out-of-state McDonald’s owners before she reported a single Ward 2 donor.

But as she recently admitted to the Star Tribune - she only started renting an apartment in Ward 2 to run against @robin4mpls.bsky.social.

Shelley Madore doesn’t actually live in Ward 2 — she rents an apt in Prospect Park to claim residency. She also accuses Robi of grandstanding rather than practicality… the same @robin4mpls.bsky.social who’s passed more unanimous legislation than any other CM.

Madore moved to Minneapolis in 2018, buying a north Minneapolis duplex in Ward 5. She began renting an apartment in Prospect Park in January, she said in an interview, a move she acknowledged was to make her eligible to run in the ward. Candidates must live in their district for at least 30 days prior to the general election under state and city of Minneapolis rules.

Lydia Millard’s donors are responsible for hundreds of property violations in Ward 10 alone since Jacob Frey first ran for mayor.

Those donors are tired of council members who fight for renters and that’s why they want Lydia Millard.

Learn more at www.lydiamillard.com.
mplsforthemany.com
Lydia Millard has very little public track record and little of substance to say when it comes to policy.

It makes it hard to know what she’s about.

But her donors - from landlords with copious property violations to GOP donors - paint a pretty clear picture.

Screenshot from Blois' Morning Take.

It's the kind of maddening circular reasoning that leads to status quo and voter alienation. Whether or not you think Fateh's policies would help these problems, Frey's policies CREATED them. Jacob Frey IS the mayor of Minneapolis, and has been for 8 years.
