My political paradigm is "Democratic politicians aren't our biggest problem, but they are our first."

I also have impeccable message discipline on this point.

This combination of factors may not be right for everyone.
The only reason this guy wasn't out of Washington a decade ago is Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, and they should be reminded of it every day until they die

I will give an *extremely* limited defense of this in that a congressional stock trading ban probably should be coupled with a significant bump in congressional pay.
Rep. Roger Williams defends members of Congress trading stocks: "I think we gotta be careful that we don't limit Congresspeople to where they can do nothing ... from a financial standpoint, it's not easy being up in Congress."

How the hell is Haití‘s World Cup team (let alone its fans) expected to come here after the president called them garbage?

It makes sense that the president who thinks stealth fighters are literally invisible has a SecDef that thinks the "fog of war" is smoke you can't see through

Not for nothing... "the right answers?"
Trump: "Is Trump in good health? I sit here, I do four news conferences a day. I ask questions from very intelligent lunatics -- you people. I give the right answers. There's never a scandal. There's never a problem. I give you answers that solve your little problems."

We let her into the tent once.
Megyn Kelly on alleged war crimes: "I really do kind of not only wanna see them killed in the water, whether they're on the boat or in the water, but I'd really like to see them suffer. I would like Trump and Hegseth to make it last a long time so they lose a limb and bleed out."

If someone you cared about told you they had an MRI the other day, but couldn't enunciate why, you would be concerned about them.

The president tells journalists this once a week and nobody's curious.

Seems like kind of a big deal that the guy with the nuclear codes got an MRI and doesn't understand why.

They keep booking these guests thinking that they’re informing Americans by asking “tough questions” into the air, and having them ignored.

If you want answers, invite actual experts. Look some people up. Do some “reporting” and find someone knowledgeable. Come on, already.
Kristi Noem refuses to directly answer a question about what Trump means by "remigration" -- a word that, as Kristen Welker notes, is often invoked by white nationalists in Europe

Mark Kelly's words today would be worth something if he hadn't spent the last four years using the GOP's framing of a "crisis" at the southern border.
