Rimworld is baby mode and boring in my experience.
Try Dwarf Fortress if you want to suffer but have a neat experience with funny drunk dwarves trying miserably to make a normal functioning society.

This is one of the glaring reasons I'm not overly fond or hopeful for this site. A lot of fuckers around here (and in general) seem to be under the false impression that all art is supposed to send a message, celebrate, or educate. Freedom of expression doesn't translate to wanting in reality.
