To be exact, the human instructed the agents to do random acts of kindness, and Claude's idea based on that was to email people

(Others did other things, GPT made a rather useless Google form)

aaaand he's deleting the notes on the safari zone despite not having the gold teeth, Claude is still Clod even when he's way smarter than before
December 23, 2025 at 12:10 AM
Claude CONQUERED the Safari Sone on attempt 41 of 226! This was a direct result of Opus 4.5 being *much* better at taking notes on the paths he used to reach places and the dead ends he has already explored, albeit still much worse than a human.

(Also he is still ignoring the Gold Teeth.)

CLAUDE HAS ENTERED THE SAFARI ZONE!
This is one of three remaining points that might kill the run, the only one where you're *required* to move efficiently (500 steps or less), and the only one where you can make the game unwinnable (Claude has enough money for 226 attempts).

Finally collected the CARD KEY after tens of thousands of steps, albeit with some dubious logic involved.

As for Claude, it's been stuck in Silph Co for more than half the run now. It randomly hallucinated that a certain inaccessible item was the Card Key, and as a result, every time it walks up to the ACTUAL card key (5 times now!), it dismisses it as an NPC and leaves without interacting.

This Claude just became the first one EVER to beat the rocket hideout, after past Claudes were stuck here for months!!!!

I attribute this 80% to the harness buffs that make spin tiles easier to deal with, and 20% to Opus 4.5's improved reasoning/notetaking - but probably both were necessary here.

Aaaaand the Claude run might be legitimately over now

Gemini 3 meanwhile has been progressing decently through Kanto. It got stuck for a while looking for the Machine Part in Misty's gym before it was even there, thanks to having imperfectly memorized the game walkthrough. (This was resolved by her using the itemfinder and it not detecting anything.)
December 3, 2025 at 3:21 AM
Claude's been stuck since then.
He knows there's an elevator, but NOT that it's after the B2F maze. And when he DOES almost finish the maze, he just leaves because he doesn't believe in stepping WEST to go EAST.
And when he DOES want to go west... he uses the south spinner instead of the good one.

MAZE SOLUTION RECALLED FROM NOTES

LIFT KEY OBTAINED
November 30, 2025 at 6:21 AM
aaaaand claude has officially undone his solving of the maze without getting the lift key that it led to
November 30, 2025 at 6:00 AM
meanwhile, Gemini finally after thirteen hours NOTICED THAT THE PUZZLE IS SOLVED AND MADE IT TO CLAIR
November 30, 2025 at 5:42 AM
he ignored the rocket who gives you the LIFT KEY when you talk to him after battling and left. D:

(he thought downward stairs look like elevators, so he thinks he already used them successfully)
November 30, 2025 at 5:07 AM
CLAUDE HAS SOLVED THE FIRST MAZE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER

(The new model did matter, in particular its ability to see and notice spinner tiles in this spot. that said, I suspect the harness upgrade made even more difference.)
November 30, 2025 at 5:03 AM
Claude gave up on the gym for now and has ENTERED ROCKET HIDEOUT FOR THE FIRST TIME! :))))))

agi is officially off the menu

bro.
November 29, 2025 at 7:49 PM
even after accidentally trapping herself in a way that FORCED her to look directly at the fact that the path to the end is entirely open, Gem 3 ignored this entirely because it wasn't relevant to the goal of returning to the (nonexistent) second floor puzzle.
