After presiding over the living room naked for a week, my little tree got trimmed today. Of course, I stuck to classic holiday motifs like #pickles, #rainbows, and #critters.

My vision was fall leaves 🍂 so instead of poking holes, I cut slits for leaf veins. I should have predicted this outcome, but I did not.
They taste great, but I may make different stylistic choices for the full batch. 😏

Renoir’s famous Luncheon of the Boating Party. It’s been a favorite since high school, and I accidentally came upon it when visiting a museum in DC for a different exhibit. I audibly gasped and then stared for ages.

Getting a little snow here in WNC today. Like most things right now, the beauty of it is laced with worry. Cute dogs help. 💕
