I've been directing on a pilot in development for the past year now that is completely at a standstill because of the constant mergers that have been happening. Its a good show! I think people will love it. Its sad that we cant get new and good stories out there because of billionaire greed

I specifically wanted kids to experience what I experienced whenever I rented a tape from the library:

Everything was hard to look at and understand and you just had to deal with it and think about it.

This is one of the reasons why I balk at the idea that men are afraid to be perceived as abusive. In many cases, that perception is actually key to their success, because other people strive to make excuses for their behavior, deny it, redeem them, and elevate them in the process.

5-8 are peak! The previous seasons are worth it to have the foundation of what the show is, in my opinion. It gets a lot wackier in 5-8, which I love, but it's good to have a somewhat mroe grounded foundation
