On "hot takes from old shows", I haven't recovered from learned that the actor who played Byron on Babylon 5 is younger than me, and was TWENTY-ONE when he shot the show. Pat Tallman was his love interest and was old enough to be his mother, but you'd never think that looking at the two of them.

Huh. Not sure how to interpret this.

This also has the delightful scene where our heroes are in the middle of nowhere, zero money, starving and no place to stay, when it starts pouring. As Gib tries to break into a trailer with a padlock, Alison digs through her purse and realizes that she has a credit card.

You may not have noticed that Warren Beatty hasn't worked in nine years... except this zoom call Dick Tracy special that he did in 2023 JUST to hold onto the rights, and I've never liked the man or his work, but I respect this level of pure pettiness.
Warren Beatty, dressed as Dick Tracy, has a zoom call with Leonard Maltin and Ben Mankiewicz, JUST so he can say he made A Dick Tracy Thing and hold onto the rights, even though the man is otherwise done in the industry. He's not going to do another Dick Tracy movie, but he's making sure no one else will either.

It's annoying to get these bullshit emails, but it's even more annoying to get them to the email address that isn't associated with my professional writer identity. Like, Fake AI Dudes, c'mon, work smarter not harder, you had to TRY to find this email address, when the correct one is right there.
