I have heard-- this may be apocryphal-- that he wrote "In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit" on the margins of someone's paper he was grading, and that person must have been SO confused when they go their paper back.

I say this as someone who loves MI movies, but all the places they’re extracting data from seem way too inconvenient for the folks who need that data. The one in MI:5, if you stub your toe, you’re locked out.
