It’s so bad. It’s grotesque in a way Star Trek had never been, the stunt actor playing the ancient admiral kicking Riker’s ass couldn’t be more obvious, and there is zero canon follow-up, and even tie-in follow-up was only *decades* later.

I think I’ve been officially unemployed since last week, but it’s hard to know? I’ve received zero communication related to my deferred resignation - you’d think there would be some paperwork. And the union is still sending me updates. Interesting.

Indeed. There's also the recurring sensation that the Mariners lose a lot of their games because they use up all their luck/cooldowns/spell slots/allotted runs for a series in one game, going really big, and then they have nothing left for the rest.

an unfortunate irony about this post - and even if you are the staunchest anti-ai critic out there, i think you'd agree - is that some of the most bigoted things are being said to respond to this. copy/pasting phrasing and terminology used by bigots but replacing "dna" with "bits" doesn't make it ok
