Fun to revisit my Silent Hill f preview post-launch to see how much I nailed engaging with its mechanics and themes early on. Just an antidote to the vibe I see from some that preview coverage is pointless and just marketing.

I'm already obsessed with Silent Hill f after 5 hours thanks to its incredible story and atmosphere, but I'm anxious about the parry-heavy combat

Sure Sonic's platformers were good, but let's be honest - the real reason I'm a fan is because our excellent UK comic was regularly coming out with face-melters like this. Imagine going from playing Sonic & Knuckles to having this beamed into your brain.

definitely agree - I play it at least once year. immaculate vibes, but also I think it remains the best 3D distillation of classic Sonic level design, or at least the closest you can get. that density of space.
