Wondering how many Thanksgiving movies exist that I categorize as Christmas movies because we just dont have thanksgiving over here and i just assumed they were set at christmas. Planes trains and automobiles is one. Just mentally added a christmas tree to the ending scene and never thought about it

Seeing a lot of negativity about nintendo and their pricing recently, and i get it corporations arent ypur friends ect. It does seem kinda wild that they're getting so much backlash when they're nowhere near the worst offenders. Like you can spend thousands in app purchases in fifa thats real evil.

For a long time i assumed the Protomen was like just dumb megaman nerd shit and i simply did not bother listening to any of their stuff. I was a fool! A simple fool! Kinda glad to come in late though, that wait for act 3 must have sucked lol.

Seen a post that was all like 'its okay not to like QT because he s a bit of a prick, but why is everyone pretending all of a sudden he's not a visionary movie making genius?' And like my man yeah i enjoyed them when i was a teenager but people are allowed to think his movies arent all that.

We were getting somewhere!”, Maple Leaf complains as Maple Blossom climbs down off the bar “You can’t start answering questions with other more cryptic questions!”. “Ugh. Sorry” Maple Leaf groans. “Maple Flower I mean.” Panel 2: “For some reason I felt like he’d have a better answer than I do? But what would he know about it?” Maple Blossom ponders. “He knew– What did he know? Who was I talking about?” Panel 3: “It’s so strange.” Maple Blossom looks confused and a little pained. “It felt so important,for just a moment, but now I can’t think why? Is this what you meant? It’s all gone soapy and slippery. I’m getting a headache. I guess I shouldn’t worry about it?” Panel 4: “You’re not getting off that easy, sugar” Maple Leaf says, her arms crossed. “Tell me your answer, I don’t care about that dang cat. Do I need to repeat the question?” Panel 5: “I told you already. I’m nothing. Nothing at all” Maple Blossom, hunched down on the floor explains. “This is just what’s left over after Maple’s all used up. I’m a numb void.” “I don’t understand, you’re just you” Maple Leaf says. “You wouldn’t understand.” Maple Blossom continues, “You’re the only one I’ve ever trusted to see me like this. I’m sorry I didn’t realise how depressed you are.” she says kindly. “Depressed?” Mable blossom exclaims, “Is that what this is?” Panel 2: “It doesn’t make any sense! I can’t get depressed!” Maple Blossom Pleads. “Maple Blossom doesn’t have bad feelings. It’s not even possible!” Panel 3: Maple Leaf lands gently on the tiled floor. “You clearly have some very strange ideas, but you are depressed, whether you think you should be or not. But that’s okay. Its okay to be sad. You don’t gotta put on a show for me, or anyone else. Bu we both know you’re not there yet.” Panel 4: “So how about this? If the problem is that being yourself is exhausting, then maybe try to tone yourself down a bit?” Maple Leaf suggests. “Tone Myself down?” Mable blossom asks, incredulous. “ Maybe try to hop less” Maple Leaf explains. Panel 5: Maple Blossom is taken aback. “Hop… Less?” She slowly repeats, the idea is strange to her. Page 33 Comic page with 5 panels. Sugar?” Panel 3: “Ah.” Maple Leaf notices Maple Syrup the french chef who is a maple syrup bottle slug. “Ze new boy, he iz, how you say? He iz sobbing” He says. “Oh great going!,” Maple Leaf responds, exasperated, “As if I don’t have enough to deal with today!”. “Oh I see how it iz!” Maple Syrup replies, “Always it iz Maple Syrup’s fault” He complains. “You gunna tell me it ain’t?” Maple Leaf shoots back. Panel 4: “I should be in ze kitchen practising my art, and here you are at ze bar!” Maple Syrup complains. “What of it!” Maple leaf says, “I’m the bartender here!”. “You should be on ze door!” Maple Syrup insists, “You are ze door-bug! Pokemon Legends ZA is interesting in that they took the blandest least interesting setting possible but also decided to make the combat fun and streamlined this time. So its both more boring than usual but also much more fun to actually play.

We continue with chapter one. [1/2]
Page 21 Comic page with 3 Panels. Panel 1: Maple is in the staff room at Maple’s Pancakes. It’s a space for people of diverse sizes, as the HR documentation puts it, so we can see a tiny chair and coffee table along side what a hightnormative person would tactlessly call ‘normal’ size ones. Maple stands at her open locker, she’s changed out of her Waitress dress. She holds her iconic green heart shirt in her paws. “Thank goodness I left a spare shirt in my locker!” she says to herself, “I hope Maple Leaf doesn’t mind me leaving my dressing gown here…” Panel 2: Maple now wears her iconic green heart shirt.m It’s a green t-shirt with a heart that matches the deep pink of her flower. “Oh that’s better! I feel like Myself!” she exclaims. Panel 3: “Oh Maple Honey, is that you?” Maple Leaf shouts from her office. “Oh that’s me!” Maple responds. “Could you pop in here for a mo?” Maple Leaf asks from behind the slightly ajar door to her normal sized office. “Sure thing Maple Leaf! I should let you know that I’m taking the day off!” Page 22 Comic page with 3 panels. Panel 1: “You’re taking the day off!” Maple Leaf exclaims from behind her desk in her normal sized office. “You never take the day off!” Panel 2: Maple’s face fills the doorway to Maple Leaf’s normal sized office. Like when she spoke to Maple Leaf earlier she has taken on a slightly more neutral energy. “I know! I’m confused about it too! But now that we have a second person waiting the tables I thought it might not be a problem” She explains. “Well at least that’s how Maple Flower explained it. …actually he kinda insisted I take the day off.” Panel 3: “Maple Flower!” Maple Leaf exclaims in frustration, “Cripes! Is he in charge now?”. “No you are!” Maple reassures her, “But I told him about my homelessness and he agreed I should focus on that today.” “Care to run that by me again?” Maple Leaf asks incredulously. “Oh Yes! I got evicted this morning!”, “You what!?”, “Tulip said here was some stuff about it in the documents I gave you!”. “Okay fine”, Maple Leaf says, “You take the a break Sweetie. We’ll muddle through.”

Silksong thoughts. I wish i was enjoying the game more. Beat lace for the first time (hopefully) after getting the dash. Explored the whole area beyond and its all dead ends. Went back to the area i was warned to avoid early on and its all spikes and ludicrously tough enemies. Where do i go?

She’s reached the downtown area of Friendship Isle and is in a hurry to get to work. She still carries the envelope of documents given to her by Tulip. She leaps over a fountain with a bust of a cartoon dog as it’s centerpiece. CHAPTER ONE: GOING UNDER Panel 2: Maple lands on the other side of the fountain, she pauses, noticing something off panel. Panel 3: It’s Sunflower Puppy! Sunflower puppy is a blank eyed dog with a sunflower on his head. He wears a pair of overalls and is waving a greeting at Maple. “Sunflower Puppy!!!” Maple exclaims! “Maple Blossom, it has been a while! What on the Isles are you wearing?” Sunflower Puppy says in a voice that only Maple can hear. “You’re so right, It’s been too long!” Maple replies. Page 12 Comic page with 6 panels. Panel 1: Maple looks down at her dressing gown and bunny slippers. “Oh! I forgot I didn’t get dressed today! I shouldn’t bother you with my little problems though!” Panel 2: Sunflower Puppy Beams his words straight into Maple’s skull. “Nonsense, all on the islands are of my domain. Your problems are my problems and a problem shared is a problem halved.” Panel 3: Maple responds bashfully, “Oh if you say so, I’m between homes right now, do you know where I can get a new one?” Panel 4: Sunflower Puppy speaks without speaking again. “That is a problem indeed. When I am confronted with a Player I am to inform them that housing can be arranged at Guest services, that seems like a place to start no?” Panel 5: Maple hugs her friend. “Oh thankyou! You’re my oldest and best friend, Sunflower Puppy!”. The Puppy replies in a voice that is not a voice “You are indeed the oldest not of the family. I am concerned for you. Let us go to guest services together.” Maple replies “I wish I could but I gotta get to work!”. The Puppy doesn’t speak but says “your work is but a construct, you don’t even get paid.” “Haha you’re so funny” Maple laughs. Panel 6: “Guest services! I’ll go check it out after my shift!” Maple says as she dashes away. Sunflower puppy waves and makes it so Maple hears “Stay safe my friend.” Maple responds “You too!!! I gotta jet!!!!” Page 13 Comic page with 5 panels. Panel 1: Sunflower Puppy watches his friend maple hop away toward her workplace. The midmorning sun beams down on them with its happy cat-like features. Panel 2: Silently Sunflower puppy contemplates his interaction with Maple. His blank eyes show a worried expression. Panel 3: Puppy’s eyes flash angrily. He glances skyward, while fishing for something in his overalls. Panel 4: Sunflower Puppy raises a smartphone to his ear as he begins to turn away. Panel 5: Sunflower puppy walks back down the street towards the fountain with his face on. Whatever he’s saying down the phoneline is only perceptible by whoever is on the other end.

Enjoying Silksong well enough but like with hollow knight the rosary bead system just feels so counter to a metroidvania game it drives me spare. I hate dying while im exploring and essentially being forced to backtrack to the same place again to get my shit back. Let me go somewhere else!

Page 1 Comic page with 4 panels. Panel 1: our story opens on Friendship Isle, one of the many islands of the Sunshine Archipelago. We see some cutesy houses shaped like cartoon animal heads among fields of grass. Trees dot the landscape and a road stretches off into a city in the distance. In the far background we see Mt. Sunshine, the mountain about which the islands of the Achipelago rotate. The sun hangs low in the sky, bathing the scene in morning sunlight and wearing a cutesy grin and cat ears. The scene focuses on a house shaped like a bunny rabbit. Panel 2: a living alarm clock rings out on a bedside table. It has a mischievous grin. Panel 3: A paw enters frame, pushing the alarm clock down and turning it off. Panel 4: We see a bunny rabbit sit up in bed. She has long lop ears and a big fluffy tuft of fur around her neck. She yawns heavily. The room has carrot wallpaper and we see a pair of bunny slippers at the foot of her tiny bed. Page 2 Comic page with 5 panels. Panel 1: The bunny is taking a shower. Panel 4: The bunny sits at a small round table. She has a slice of toast on a plate and sips contentedly from a small heart marked cup. It looks like she’s enjoying her morning coffee but in this world coffee isn’t actually allowed. She’s drinking Cocoa and its only making her sleepier. Panel 5: A knock at the door startles our bunny. Her large ears jump up and she spills a little bit of her drink. Her previously closed eyes are now huge and wide open. Page 3 Comic Page with 5 panels. Panel 1: The lighting in the room appears to darken, our bunny wears a worried expression. “Oh Bother, I thought I had time. I’m not expecting anyone, whats going on? Did I forget something?” she asks herself. Panel2: The front door appears dark and massive and towering over our bunny. She’s spiralling into anxiety. “This is going to throw everything off…” she continues, then changes attitude. “No. You’re being silly, Maple.” she says to herself. Panel 3: Maple reaches her hand out to the doorhandle. “I can do this” she says but her expression is still worried, her pupils are small and her eyes have bags underneath. Panel 4: We close in on Maple’s eyes. “Game face on!” she declares as her eyes brighten and her pupils expand. Panel 5: Maple throws open her front door with previously unseen energy. Another long lop eared rabbit waits outside. Maple exclaims: “A visitor so early on a monday morning, must be a lucky day!!! And a new friend too! Oh What an unexpected Joy!” her previously understated demeanour now replaced with a manic expression and wide smile.

The comic won't be in colour because i feel like that would slow the pace of production to a crawl. But i guess i should give the reader some idea! Fun fact three of the characters here are named 'Maple' and four of them are named after flowers. It'll make sense in context i swear!

Lexx update. Onto series 2. Cast change was unexpected. Suprising number of episodes involve one or more of the characters trying to buy sex. Others feel like a startrek monster of the week mystery except nobody cares. I think im becoming fully lexx brained, this show is great.

So i decided to watch Lexx. Im not sure what i was expecting but it definitely wasnt whatever Lex is. It has images and ideas. Its brain meltingly dumb in places and awful and uncomfortable in others. Visually it feels like an fmv game from the 90s. Its not great but i want to see more.
