Meanwhile, teachers are being forced to hang the Ten Commandments in their classrooms in violation of the First Amendment and legislators are banning books about people of color, immigrants, and LGBTQ people.

“To turn off, go to Settings > Apps > Photos on iOS and turn off Enhanced Visual Search. On Mac, open Photos and go to Settings > General to do the same. You must do it on each of your Apple devices.”
Apple has opted iOS and MacOS users into an AI photo scanning feature which tries to extract landmarks from your photos called Enhanced Visual Search by default with little notice.

I am an elementary school librarian. I haven’t gotten COVID - and I test for any slight symptom whatsoever, so I don’t think it’s just that I had it and didn’t know. The only possible reason I’ve worked with 600 kids and not gotten COVID is my mask.

We need to keep talking about how weird it is for people to think they should have a say in reading choices for anyone's kids but their own. You're not in charge of what other people's children eat or wear or when they go to bed. Why on earth would you get to choose what they read?
