I definitely remember Peter David being on usenet back in the late 80s. He used the same dial up service I did to get online (cup dot portal dot com). You can find old posts on google groups usenet groups from the late 80s into the early 90s. groups.google.com/g/rec.arts.s...

And, I did see that Russell said that "This is a huge, spectacular Christmas treat", so obviously likely around Christmas, maybe a five day event of some sort. Time to fire up the UK VPN it looks like...

The latest I've seen is the BBC will make it available by the end of the year but that Disney will still hold it off for 2026. The BBC rarely announces an actual air date until they have to for the Radio Times schedules, so we'll likely find out just a couple of weeks beforehand.
