I apologize for the wall of text and my rant on your post. When I started, I did not intend all of this.

However, I will state one last time that the treatment of marginalized individuals currently being undertaken by the Trump administration is abhorrent to every American ideal.

It can be at a city council meeting about permitting events or a library or school board meeting about books.

All of these take courage to do, and local politics courage may be greater than the courage needed for marching at the capitol building. After all, you face your community everyday.

It sounds like an empty slogan or propaganda, but it’s true.

And it doesn’t have to be in a grand march at a state or national capitol.

I thought her to be extremely capable but a tone deaf choice. Nevertheless, I voted for her in the general.

The press gave him a free platform for his rhetoric, and fear began to replace my thoughts about Trump being a ridiculous candidate. I heard the rhetoric and saw the violence (on tv) at his rallies. Mob mentality was taking over, and Trump was encouraging it

I am sorry I did not take his candidacy more seriously. I assumed the electorate was smarter/more serious than his rhetoric.
