I was in London last year and did the same double up with my 10 year old going through the gates as we do in Toronto and London’s are definitely faster at closing and way more aggressive, we kept joking that we were going to be bruised

We’ve had non-turnstiles in Toronto for a long while and my kids just have to squish through with us. We stand together and hustle through after I tap.

During WW2 didn’t the UK require everyone with space to grow food? I wonder if having that history helps with the positive attitude towards land sharing and allotments.

I also have a school trustee election in my ward so I’ll be voting in all 3 levels of government within months of each other!

My fave was (and I may be misremembering the exact details here) but her mentor being like the Attorney General or something and her saying having a good mentor is key. Gee, why don’t we all just seek out powerful and well-positioned mentors?

This happened to me quickly and it turned out I was extremely, dangerously dehydrated! Make sure you’re drinking lots and getting electrolytes!

First, yay I’m so happy to see you again over here! I missed you on Twitter.
Second, they got a new CEO and I think they sent them out to a bunch of influencers and did new colours etc., so it became a new “must have” so now when they do limited release versions people go nuts.
