Since I'm here for a few days and have a sore throat, I'm becoming a connoisseur of Puerto Rican soups. This was a tasty homemade chicken noodle soup. I got avocado on the side, expecting a little bit of avocado, and received this massive slice (hand included for scale). It was very yummy. 🤤

It turns out that the attack on Caracas by our fascist government shutdown airspace around here and that's why my flight out of San Juan was cancelled. Now I'll be here until Tuesday. There are worse places to be stuck, so I'm trying to look on the bright side.

Well, my flight out of San Juan was cancelled and the best I can find is leaving on Tuesday, so I guess I'm here for a while longer. I'm bummed because I was supposed to spend that time with a friend in Baton Rouge, but now I'm going to have to cancel that part of my vacation. 🙁

It's the last day of my cruise and I just want some peace and quiet, so I'm back in my balcony hammock. Out come my neighbors and they start fighting with one another. 1) Why does this always happen to me on cruises? 2) Why are straight people so damned miserable together?

Tasting menu on my excursion was awesome. Goat cheese balls with beets and greens, shrimp with mango salsa, flank steak with rum sauce and potatoes with white chocolate, and carrot cake with carrots three ways.
