I asked my GP why she doesn’t wear a mask- don’t they keep getting exposed and ill? She relies on patients self screening. I feel a bit gaslit by all our health providers acting like it’s no biggie

I masked even for my two days and nights on planes and I am amazed considering the intense exposure, but I didn’t bring an infection home to NZ. Masks work!

The photo with ppl masked on a train is wildest dreams to me. I travelled to the UK last month from NZ and across 5 NZ, Singapore, London airports, countless packed trains, hotels, concerts and shops, I saw 3 other masked people out of 1000s! The sickness on trains and planes was feral.

My youngest son was marooned in the middle of the playroom at preschool when bricks from the old chimney breast exploded at high speed across the floor, leaving only the space his tiny body inhabited untouched. I know how lucky we were, though noone came away unscathed
