I'm even surprised that some of the local folks I listen to said absolutely nothing--and unless I missed something, crickets from Democracy Now, too. Not sure I can handle this.

Messaging from the Democrats MUST BE that Republicans, WHO ARE IN CHARGE, could drop the vote threshold from 60 votes to a simple majority to pass the spending bill IF THEY WANTED TO.

THEY DO NOT NEED THE DEMOCRATS AT ALL.

Seems to me that he wants to cut funds to local law enforcement (not just in NYC) to drive those folks to sign up for his Gestapo force? LEOs would, of course, lose their jobs and immediately need a fallback to pay bills, etc. --I've been seeing ads EVERYWHERE.
