No longer.

As a civil and LGBTQ rights attorney, of Jewish faith, happily married to a transwoman, it is obvious that living in the US is no longer safe for us. I am transitioning to remote practice and we have leased a house in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Available to advise on emigration options.

Morning from Kyiv!

Every morning, Victory (still a cat)
asks me to open the window.
We have nets on the windows (don't worry).
So, today, she listened to the alert.
All clear already.

I'm back after the day off.
(Ukrainian art will be later 🙃)

Dear Federal Workers:

If you received an email saying that if you resign, you will get paid to do no work until September,

DO NOT BELIEVE IT!

It’s as much of a con as an email about you being the long lost heir to a Nigerian fortune.

DO. NOT. QUIT. YOUR. GOVERNMENT. JOB.

The law does not

Morning from Kyiv!
Almost no snow left;
warmer temperatures ate it.
Such weather is not typical
for winter in Ukraine,
but definitely good
during the war.

I had a #warcoffee and am ready to
jump into a busy Saturday.

and beautiful places.
I already had my first #warcoffee

The one thing I hear over and over again about the two candidates from last time, and in general, is that they are “all the same.” This absolutely baffles me. The opinion appears genuinely held, it’s just so misinformed. Yet it’s almost universal. I fear for our future.

I was reading the lead in the NYT today it blithely pronounces that Trump champions the working class. And my reaction is they’ve drunk the Kool-Aid, as he clearly does not. But then I thought you know what, the working class seems to think he does. We have work to do.
