what the right is offering young men is the subjugation of women in lieu of any material gains for men. that, like many components of fascism, feels very immediately rewarding to some people. it’s not something you can easily replicate on the left.

my take is it's actually fine to politicize tragedies when those tragedies occur as a direct result of policy failures. the issue here is that it's not DEI, it's gutting federal agencies and trying to reduce the staff of already understaffed air traffic control towers
