My heart breaks for the kids in my school. No picture books. No literature. No real writing instruction. Just test prep. All day, every day. No wonder we have behavior problems & our scores are abysmal.

Husband text me this after I got to work this morning. Thank you, President Biden; both my husband & I have now had our student loans forgiven. Mine were small & I’d been paying on them for 20 years. He owed a lot more. & now it’s all gone. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe it.

My MIL is coming over this morning to learn how to make biscuits. And then she’s gonna make tomato gravy. I suppose it’s a good trade-off…

It’s “cruisin’” day tomorrow & I ain’t wearing a poodle skirt. Cue the thrift store for a 3x men’s button down. Quick seams down the sides, based off of my favorite t-shirt & no one is the wiser. Except the Sner. Who is rolling over in her pool. 😂😂
