I can't describe how bad Minneapolis feels right now. My neighbors are pulling kids out of school. The public schools are offering remote learning until 2/12. We are having conversations in our alleys about how to protect ourselves. It feels like a military occupation with a blockade.

There are no rules, they don’t actually care about respect, decorum, bipartisanship or debate, and only pretend to do so to browbeat you into submission. Nothing is going to change until more people realise that and respond accordingly; including to the media and politicians who have failed them.

If Machado gives Trump her Novel prize and he accepts it that will prove to me that his mind is pudding because it means he thinks physically possessing a Nobel prize makes you a Nobel prize winner. Like, it will still say in the wikipedia page "2025 peace prize winner: Maria Corina Machado."
