No. The DOJ is not in charge of the federal judiciary. It is part of the Executive Branch (Article II, of the Constitution). I'm posting a chart of the DOJ as it was still functioning up to the end of the Biden Administration. It shows all the different agencies & depts that are part of the DOJ.

People might be tempted to believe the NRA encouraged them to "gloss over the first four words" (actually, the first HALF) whenever they think of the 2nd Amendment!
