Sometimes transfeminist activism is setting boundaries with a trans woman who thinks that you're her own personal mother whose job it is to coddle her over a grievance with you that she wholly hallucinated.

literally just did that and it wasn't even that bad cause I helped my Romund's dad ( king Derthert (now I am a real princess)) take the fief of Omor but then his council voted to give me Omor to govern and now I have to manage a city 💀

Gen AI is a tool of capital to make us stupid and compliant. In a just world, all the people pushing it would be shown the error of their ways. In this world, we can only hope the bubble bursts and takes some of these people with it.

Author and filmmaker Justine Bateman on generative AI
"They're trying to convince people they can't do the things they've been doing easily for years - to write emails, to write a presentation. Your daughter wants you to make up a bedtime story about puppies - to write that for you." We will get to the point, she says with a grim laugh, "that you will essentially become just a skin bag of organs and bones, nothing else. You won't know anything and you will be told repeatedly that you can't do it, which is the opposite of what life has to offer. Capitulating all kinds of decisions like where to go on vacation, what to wear today, who to date, what to eat.
People are already doing this. You won't have to process grief, because you'll have uploaded photos and voice messages from your mother who just died, and then she can talk to you via AI video call every day. One of the ways it's going to destroy humans, long before there's a nuclear disaster, is going to be the emotional hollowing-out of people." - author and filmmaker Justine Bateman from a piece by Emine Saner for the Guardian

Still pretending I'm doing #knightober and not doing what I'd do any month of the year anyway.
A drawing of a knight wearing fourteenth century inspired plate armor and a bascinet helmet with a gilded visor. At the collar and skirt is red cloth with dagged ends shaped like oak leaves. She is wielding a voulge in her right hand and wears a sword at her left hip.

Works by Janet and Anne Grahame Johnstone, a pair of identical twin sisters who worked (primarily in gouache) by passing their shared illustrations back and forth. Together they illustrated hundreds of ads, logos, and over 100 books, including Dodie Smith’s 101 Dalmations.

After Janet’s death in a 1979 housefire, her heartbroken sister Anne made good on all of their outstanding commissions, and mastered many subjects which had been her sister’s speciality, particularly horses. She worked until 2 days before her death, at the age of 69 in 1998.

there are two cultures of lesbianism in the 2020s. there's watchtower lesbianism which discourses over why one might suck the strap and if that means they're real lesbians and there's workshop lesbianism where they've made some vibrating straps and are frotting with it b/c lesbians can do anything

do you think there’s a girl out there who describes her transition as “from pwning noobs to owning boobs” and if so do you think she’s on the market for some mid head
