Because everyone is assigned a random number at 10am. Doesn't matter how long you've been on before that.

I saw it yesterday and loved it! I was so pleased to see Amy Madigan on screen again.

Gah! Live Aid is one of my very earliest memories. 4 years old, at home with Mum, telling me who everyone is and who is good and who is crap, dancing around the living room. Later, explaining Concord to me and how Collins could play in the UK and US on the same day. Set me in motion, music-wise.

I've seen people effectively saying 'yeah, you didn't get it because you just weren't listening'.
No, it's BECAUSE I was listening to the inane dialogue closely that I hated it so much. I feel like people are being gaslit on a massive scale.

Honestly, one of the dullest plays I've seen in some time.
On the other hand, In Praise of Love, which I saw at the Orange Tree on Thursday was wonderful. Recommended if you fancy a trip out to Richmond.

At the interval, I stood next to the door for some air where the security guards were handing out cards for readmission. A huge amount of weary looking people said 'no thanks' before leaving forever.

During my time on this earth, I've read a lot of new plays in my (old) role as a play reader, and the script for Stereophonic would barely have made it past the first cull. The fact that it's been through some kind of development process is baffling.
