There are plenty of people of a certain age in the Midwest who still can't accept that we invaded Iraq on the basis of a lie. This is too nuanced of a topic for them to digest, let alone accept and protest.

FWIW, I'm disgusted and outraged and share your disgust that more people aren't.

And Trump demonizing the CDC throughout the pandemic. When you're not burdened with truth and fact, you can make up and then solve a whole lot of fake problems while the real ones get worse.

We are so screwed.

You mean that time that the Federal Gov't cancelled the grant that was going to help finance a battery facility in the very part of the city that needs jobs the most just out of pure spite? You mean how Kehoe is threatening to take away state income tax? You mean...etc.?

Yes, but I don't have it on my phone. Just letting folks know I'm over there. As of now: I frequently use two social platforms: Threads and LinkedIn. I'll probably cross post on here for a while.

Maybe don't always throw out the baby with the bathwater when it comes to free speech.

The rich and powerful are listening; they want you to hate and shitpost the free press as much as they do.

Breaking Bad/BTS are two of my favorite shows of all time--if not my all time favorite shows. Saul had what I would argue is the best series finale ever.

I remember buying the DVD of Season 1 after Cranston won the Emmy just to check it out and being so blown away...

To each their own etc.

I haven't checked it out yet (I'll probably binge the whole thing) but if I trust anyone to land a plane story wise, it's Vince Gilligan. Who would have thought that a prequel drama starring a comedy legend would work, let alone be as good as its predecessor?

He's (for me) the best TV EP ever.
