This administration is flooding the zone so furiously that people have largely lost track of the lethal attacks on boats in the Caribbean, the gov’t shutdown, the economy, failed release of the Epstein files & so much else. It’s a tactic of would-be strongmen.

Fun facts: SCOTUS has twice affirmed that burning the American flag as a form of political protest is expressive conduct PROTECTED by 1A.

The two landmark decisions, Texas v. Johnson (1989) and USA v. Eichman (1990), struck down both state and federal laws criminalizing flag desecration.
