I’ve never had success with corn. (Not even in Nebraska.) I’m going to try again this coming year doing a 3 sisters style planting. Water is my issue here for sure though.

There is cheap land all over the country. You have to give up creature comforts (I would kill for delivery service) but I get the sense you like solitude.
