Michigan’s largest College Republican chapter. Go Green; Vote Red!
Michigan Democrats once again showcasing their historical illiteracy: most of the colonists’ issues were with laws passed by Parliament, not with actions taken by the king. The king actually had very limited power post-Glorious Revolution!
What Trump is describing is deeply and shockingly unAmerican. We fought a revolution to free ourselves from the whims of an all-powerful king. Now Trump wants to make himself the ultimate authority? Utterly shameful. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/08/u...
Trump Addresses Venezuela, Greenland and Presidential Power in New York Times Interview
On topic after topic, President Trump made clear that he would be the arbiter of any limits to his authorities, not international law or treaties.

Maybe it’d be easier to agree on a budget if your starting point wasn’t this:

@misendems.bsky.social plan to spend our state into bankruptcy, make schools work for their special-interest buddies instead of students, and use taxpayer dollars to subvert federal immigration enforcement through the Office of Global Michigan. That’s not good for our state!
It's been 2 months since we passed our people-first budget. 🧵on what we're fighting for:

Unable to accept reality, Democrats turn to delusions and bizarre conspiracy theories.

If being a “fighter” means “carpetbagging into a district with lots of political alpha to further your career,” then @mallorymcmorrow.bsky.social is a fighter indeed.
People are desperate for fighters in Washington. I know what it means to fight.

After flipping a red district against an incumbent in 2018, I spent years in the senate minority, fighting tooth and nail despite GOP opposition.

And when we took full power in the legislature in 2022, we USED it…

Democrats want to take your healthcare away and replace it with inefficient, government-run slop. Vote Republican if you want to keep your healthcare and your doctor!
Thank you! Let’s end the micro slices of health care - employer, self-funded with a million options, Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, ACA, auto insurance riders, etc. - that has to be extremely redundant and wasteful and just provide universal healthcare.

“Fired up” seems a bit generous.
Ottawa County Dems showed up today! MDP Chair Curtis Hertel joined a fired up crowd at the OCDP Annual Summer Picnic.

Thank you, John James, for voting against a $2100 tax increase for Michigan families!
"In John James’ Macomb County district alone, $16 million in investments and hundreds of jobs are at risk — and he knows it...Unfortunately, despite the risks to his district and state, James voted for the budget that puts billionaires first and workers last." www.voicenews.com/2025/07/10/m...

Old incel rants written by @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social have recently resurfaced. This unhinged screed shows Mamdani for who he truly is: an entitled and egomaniacal communist. Nobody should trust him with political power.

Democrats: why won’t the House pass more of our bills?

The bills in question:
#MiCareMonday - I'm excited for next week's re-introduction of the State Based Universal Health Care Act (#SBUCHA) in Washington, DC, from Congressman Ro Khanna of California and Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts! ... #MiCare #M4A #MedicareForAll #HealthCareIsAHumanRight #UniversalHealthcare

Maybe you should stop grandstanding for a day or two and work on issues that Michiganders actually care about. Not likely to happen anytime soon!
