The Yankees are home for a must win game tonight against the Blue Jays in the American League Divisional Series.

We finished bridge replacement work on Phase 1 of the Park Avenue Viaduct repair and replacement project.

The elevated structure was fully replaced between East 115th and East 123rd street along Park Avenue, and it was all done without disrupting service.

It was a pleasure to invite the public to our New Haven Yard facility and showcase our train fleets, as well as the important work our team does behind the scenes.

The New Haven Open House is almost here!

One exhibit you won’t want to miss is a special tribute to the late Frank English, renowned Metro-North photographer. Put together by our current photographer, Emily Moser, this showcase offers an up-close look at over 40 years of Metro-North history.

While we upgrade the OMNY system, you will not be able to buy or load OMNY Cards for some time this weekend (October 3-5).

The upgrade will begin on October 3 at 10 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sunday, October 5.

The MTA Board has approved new fare changes and ticket policies for Metro-North, which will go into effect starting in 2026.

We rolled out brand new locomotives that are faster, greener and cleaner! These modern dual-mode diesel-electric engines will deliver more reliable service and cleaner air for our region.

It's Day 2 of See Tracks? Think Train Week! Today, Tracks the Dog will be focusing on grade crossing.

Before crossing, make sure that:
✅ The gates are completely up.
✅ The bells stop ring and the lights stop flashing.
✅ You look both ways before crossing.

This week, our team will be present at multiple stations and grade crossings throughout our system, as well as at Grand Central Terminal, to promote the importance of rail safety.
